Larco Museum Tour & Dinner
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Lima to start this tour, where we'll discover the different historical periods of the Peruvian capital.
First up, we'll stroll through the bohemian neighborhood of Miraflores to see the Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological complex belonging to the Limeño culture, which inhabited this area between the 3rd and 8th centuries AD. The site has pyramids, ceremonial buildings and a necropolis.
Next, we'll contemplate the exterior of Huaca Huallamarca, located in the San Isidro neighborhood. Did you know that the term huaca comes from a Quechua word used to designate sacred places? Before reaching the highlight of the excursion, we'll also pass by the Huaca Mateo Salado.
Finally, we'll arrive at the Larco Museum, where we'll admire one of the largest collections of pre-Columbian art in Peru. After this visit, we'll go to the Café del Museo restaurant, where we'll enjoy a 3-course dinner. What better way to conclude this tour of Lima?
After dinner, we'll take you to your hotel, where we'll arrive after a total of 4 hours.
