On the route between Mulchén and Quilaco we'll see the waterfalls of Rehuén, Newenko and other spectacular waterfalls of Biobío, a must in this part of Chile!

Mulchén-Quilaco Falls Tour

We'll start the tour heading south towards Mulchén. On the outskirts of this town we'll see the first waterfall of the route: the Rehuén waterfall, a beautiful cascade surrounded by a lush native forest of the Andes.

After contemplating how the waters of this great torrent rush down, we'll continue our tour along the Mulchén-Quilaco Route, observing the wide range of volcanoes of the Andean foothills. Following the itinerary along this route we'll reach the majestic Newenko waterfalls.

Once we arrive at this amazing group of waterfalls, you can visit the different waterfalls on your own. The main one is the Bride waterfall, which reaches 60 metres (196 feet). You can't miss the so-called Twin Falls either, which are lower than the previous one, but with more force in their torrents, and you'll be able to take some spectacular photos!

Next to the Newenko falls you'll also enjoy magnificent views of the Siete Picos and La Pepa mountains, which form part of the Tricauco range. The area is surrounded by the majestic peaks of the foothills of the Andes, so you'll be able to get some great views of the snow-capped peaks.

We'll also provide you with a picnic bag that includes a sandwich, some typical pancakes called sopaipillas, a sweet and a wheat and hazelnut coffee. However, if you wish to try more typical products of the area, we'll also take you to the Ilwen Sabores restaurant, which specialises in Mapuche food.

Finally, we'll return to the starting point. Arrival is scheduled eight hours after pickup.
