Spectacular natural landscapes and local wildlife await on this tour to San Crisanto and Sinanché from Mérida. Take a boat trip through the mangroves and experience being a beekeeper!
San Crisanto & Sinanché Tour
After picking you up from your hotel in Merida at 7:45 am, we'll set off for Motul, where we'll stop for a delicious typical breakfast of "huevos motuleños", or traditional Motul eggs on tortillas with black beans and cheese.
With our batteries recharged, we'll then head to Sinanché, a village in Yucatán specialised in the production of honey. There we'll meet an expert who will teach us the importance of this product in the area. We'll even get to dress up in a beekeeper's suit to interact with the bees ourselves!
We'll taste different types of honey depending on the plants pollinated and attend a workshop where we'll make our own candles out of beeswax.
Next, we'll travel to the coast to visit the small fishing village of San Crisanto. Upon arrival, we'll take an hour and a half boat tour of the mangroves. During the cruise we'll get to see snakes, birds, turtles and even lizards on our way to a small natural pool where we'll have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip.
After the boat trip, we'll enjoy a tasty lunch of fish and rice. Finally, we'll relax on Sac-ha Beach, a paradise of white sands, coconut trees and palapas.
We'll conclude the day back at your hotel in Mérida at 7 pm.
