The first stage of the World Cup, before the elimination rounds, will consist of the group stage, which will take place between June 11 and 27.

Uzbekistan-Colombia, Game in Group K
Group K of the 2026 World Cup consists of the national teams of Portugal, Colombia, Uzbekistan, and a fourth team yet to be determined, which will be decided in March 2026 after the playoff between the Democratic Republic of Congo and the winner of the game between New Caledonia and Jamaica.
The Uzbekistan-Colombia game, in which the Central Asian team will play as the home team, will be played on Wednesday, June 17, in the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, currently called Estadio Banorte for sponsorship reasons. This game will kick off at 9 pm (local time in Mexico City).
