Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the selected meeting point in Mexico City and begin our tour of Coyoacán, Xochimilco, and the murals of the UNAM, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, three of the must-see sites to discover Mexican culture. Get your cameras ready!

Once we're all gathered, we'll hop on a minibus that will take us to Coyoacán. Did you know its name in Nahuatl means "place of coyotes?" We'll learn about its origins to understand the significance of this neighborhood in Mexico City. We'll walk along its cobbled streets and enjoy its charming Colonial architecture.

Afterward, we'll take you to the Ciudad Universitaria in Mexico City. Here, fascinating murals that decorate the facades of the buildings and the Central Library. It's home to over 100 murals of different sizes and styles! Thanks to this open-air art gallery, we'll continue learning about Mexico's history and cultural identity.

To end the tour in the best way possible, we'll head to Xochimilco, one of the most famous and iconic places in the city. Here, we'll board a trajinera, a traditional, colorful boat decorated with flowers. We'll sail along the canals and artificial islands, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It'll be unforgettable!

After finishing our trajinera boat ride, you'll have free time to eat at a nearby restaurant or visit the crafts market. We'll regroup and take you back to the starting point, where we'll conclude the tour 9 hours later.
