Activity Details

We'll meet at the indicated time at the Casa Pepe hotel. On the terrace of this lodging, located in the heart of Mexico City, we'll meet a real wrestler. We'll chat with him to learn about the meaning of the sport, learn some of the most famous keys, and you can even create your own wrestler name!

While we talk with the wrestler on the terrace of the Casa Pepe hotel, we'll have tacos with guacamole and tequila. Then, we'll travel by double-decker tour bus to the Arena Mexico stadium: the cathedral of Mexican wrestling. This is a special version of Olympic wrestling, characterized by spectacular acrobatics and daring jumps out of the ring. It is, therefore, a mixture of sport and performance that in Mexico is as popular as soccer. Its wrestlers use a mask to hide their true identity and create characters that are often idolized and mythologized by their fans.

Inside the Arena Mexico, you will attend a live Mexican wrestling show of between two and three rounds. In addition, inside the stadium we'll give you a surprise gift that you can keep as a souvenir.

After 1.5 hours at the Casa Pepe hotel and 3 hours at the Arena Mexico, we'll conclude the activity at this venue.

Arena Mexico

Built in 1956 and with a capacity of 14,000, the Arena Mexico is the most important lucha libre stadium in the world. Today it's the headquarters for the World Wrestling Council and is managed by the Mexican Wrestling Company, the longest-running and most traditional wrestling company, which organises shows on Tuesdays and Fridays all year round.

Your seats will be located in the central preferential area, whose location can be found in the following map:
