Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Espai la Senieta and begin our guided tour of Moraira, one of the smallest coastal towns in Alicante, but without a doubt, one of the most charming.

Once we're all gathered, we'll discover the old town of Moraira to stroll around its corners, such as the Calle Calatayud, the oldest street in the town. In the heart of the town, we'll also explore the areas where the most traditional stores can be found, like the alpargaterías, where espadrille shoes are made.

Our tour will take us to the Iglesia de Santa María de los Desamparados, where, if we're lucky, we can step inside its interior to admire the stained-glass windows and the altarpiece's mosaic.

Then, we'll head to the Plaza de la Cuchara, where you'll find the statue commemorating the fishermen. Here, we'll share the stories of the fishermen who shaped Moraira's character. Of course, we'll see the port, one of the most lively spots in Moraira. It's a must-visit stop!

To wrap up the tour, we'll return to the starting point and conclude this 2-hour walking tour.

Castillo de Moraira

If you take the tour on a Sunday, we'll make an extra stop at the end! We'll walk toward the Castle, a fortress built in the 18th century, commissioned by the Bourbon dynasty to protect the population from pirate attacks from northern Africa.

In this case, the activity will last a total of 2.5 hours.
