The Best Tours & Experiences in Naples

Authenticity, historical legacy and an unbeatable gastronomy, Naples is best known for its links with the legendary footballer Maradona, and often serves as a stop off point for those visiting Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. However, a city as interesting as this one deserves more time!

Must-see monuments & areas in Naples

The old town of Naples is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Monuments such as the complex of Santa Chiara, the Castel Nuovo, the Royal Palace and the Naples Cathedral stand out here.

The Galleria Umberto I shopping gallery dating back to the 19th century, and the Spanish Neighbourhood (Quartieri Spagnoli) both offer fantastic, though quite different, shopping experiences. Galleria Umberto I is home to a selection of the city's most fashionable boutiques and restaurants, whereas the Spanish Neighbourhood is characterised by its narrow alleyways lined with shop stalls. Check them out for yourself!

Original plans with Civitatis

Did you know that Naples is home to the best pizzerias in Italy? In fact, the modern version of pizza which we know and love was invented in this very city in the 1800s. With Civitatis, you can enjoy workshops and food tours to get in touch with the flavours of the city.

Book a ferry ticket to Capri to discover the area's breathtaking scenery. If you're a football fan, visit the football stadium where Maradona left an indelible mark waters.

Day trips from Naples

A short drive from Naples you'll find Pompeii and Herculaneum, said to be two of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Naples is the perfect place to base yourself when visiting these cities, which were buried by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD, ultimately preserving them. With Civitatis, you can also enjoy a day trip to Mt. Vesuvius itself, as well as Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.
