Drach & Hams Caves Day Trip + Porto Cristo
Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in southern Mallorca and set off for the eastern part of the island.
The first stop of the day will be at the Drach Caves, where we'll venture inside the underground galleries. These impressive tunnels carved out of the rock are 3,937 feet (1,200 metres) long and 82 feet (25 metres) deep. As we explore, we'll be able to spot plenty of stalactites and stalagmites all around us.
To continue exploring the caves, we'll see Lake Martel. This spot is one of the largest underground lagoons in the world, and we'll be able to admire its beauty while enjoying a live piece of classical music. After this short concert, you'll have the option of hopping into a gondola to travel from one side of the lake to the other.
The tour will continue at the Majorica pearl factory, where you can visit the museum and store on your own.
After this unforgettable experience, we'll head to the Hams Caves. In these amazing underground caves, which were only discovered in 1905, we'll watch an audiovisual show projected on the walls of the caverns. Next to the Hams Caves, we'll also find the "Round Cave", a large open space that houses a beautiful botanical garden.
Lastly, we'll make our way to Porto Cristo. You'll have one hour of free time to have lunch and take a stroll in this beautiful coastal village in eastern Mallorca. We'll then return to your hotel in southern Mallorca and drop you off at around 5 pm.
Pickup
This day trip includes pickup from the pier of Escollera de Palma and from the following tourist areas in southern Mallorca: Camp de Mar, Paguera, Santa Ponsa, Cala Vinyes, Magalluf, Palmanova, Portals Nous, Illetes, Cala Mayor, Palma, Arenal, Playa de Palma and Can Pastilla. The hotel pickup will be at a nearby point, not at the reception.
