Prosciutto Factory Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel at the selected time and make our way to a Parma ham factory, one of the star culinary products of this Italian city.
Ever heard of Prosciutto di Parma? Present in many Italian recipes, this ham is a product par excellence in gastronomy. During the tour, we'll enter a factory where this product is produced and learn all about the different steps that are followed to achieve its characteristic sweet taste.
The guide will detail the most important points of each room we visit, such as the salting room and the refrigeration room, as well as explain the standards of quality that are upheld. Did you know that prosciutto is a product with a Protected Designation of Origin by the European Union?
To finish our visit, we'll taste prosciutto for ourselves, accompanied by a traditional red wine.
