Kuranda Skyrail & Train
On the morning of your excursion, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Port Douglas at around 8 am and set off on the hour-long drive to the Kuranda railway station.
Having boarded the scenic train at 9:50 am, we'll embark on the hour and a half journey through the spectacular jungle landscapes of north eastern Australia. You'll be captivated by the dramatic waterfalls, lush vegetation and the famous Barron Gorge as we wind through the Queensland countryside. Don't forget your camera!
Arriving in Kuranda, you'll have two hours of free time to explore this rural paradise at your own pace. There's plenty to do: enjoy a delicious lunch, visit the lively markets for some souvenir shopping, stroll through the picturesque streets - you decide!
It'll then be time for the highlight of the day: taking a ride on the famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to fly over the world's oldest tropical rainforest. Reaching the end of the cable car route, you'll be picked up again and taken back to Port Douglas.
We'll drop you back off at your hotel at 5 pm.
