Have you ever felt like pedaling through dreamy urban landscapes? At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Escondido and travel by minibus to pick up our two wheels and go!
After a brief introduction, we'll get on the bikes and ride along winding roads that will lead us through magical landscapes in the city. According to legend, the name of Puerto Escondido comes from a young girl who escaped from pirates!
We'll continue our bike ride, soaking in the sea breeze and the scents of the tropics, as we uncover the stories and secrets that shaped Oaxaca’s identity as a port city.
Next, we'll ride onto a semi-private road along the river and through the forests north of Puerto Escondido. After about an hour of pedaling, we'll take a break to refuel during the route.
As we pause for a moment, we'll also enjoy a traditional breakfast in San José El Quequestle, where we'll savor authentic dishes like mole, bean or quesillo sopes (traditional maize cakes), tamales, eggs, coffee and soft drinks. Buen provecho!
Finally, we'll return to Puerto Escondido and head back to your hotel, arriving 4 hours after pickup.
