Laguna de Manialtepec Kayak Tour
Description
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Escondido and head for the village of Las Negras, on the shores of the Laguna de Manialtepec. Would you like to go on a kayaking tour? Let's go!
After a 20-minute drive, we'll reach the starting point of our route. We'll listen to the explanations of the instructor, who'll give us their top tips for kayaking before we get going!
We'll board a speedboat that'll take us to the starting point of the kayak tour. From there, we'll start paddling through the Manialtepec River Sanctuary. We'll follow the guide through the canals and enjoy the dense vegetation of the area.
The tour will also take us to Carnero, a place where numerous migratory birds such as American storks, roseate spoonbills, cormorants, ibis, caracaras, frigatebirds, and herons nest. What's more, once we reach Puerto Suelo beach, we can take some time to relax and admire the landscape.
We'll return to the starting point and return to your hotel in Puerto Escondido, where we'll say our goodbyes after 6 hours of activity.
