Blue Lagoon & Playa Grande Day Trip

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up and drive by minibus to the north-eastern part of the island. After a two-hour drive, we'll reach our first destination of the day: the Blue Lagoon. Ready to explore this gem in the Dominican nature?

At the Lago Azul, or Blue Lagoon, you'll be dazzled by the stunning scenery: crystal-clear waters sparkling in the sun's rays. We'll get to enjoy a refreshing swim in this unique setting, surrounded by nature, before continuing our day trip.

The next destination on the day trip is Playa Grande, one of the most beautiful beaches in the northern Dominican Republic. With its white sand, palm trees, and turquoise blue waters, this beach is undoubtedly a paradise setting!

After a well-deserved swim in the Caribbean Sea, we'll enjoy lunch near Playa Grande while we learn curious facts about the area. The incredible views of the sea, together with the delicious local specialities we eat, will leave you with unforgettable memories of Playa Grande. 

For the finishing touch on the trip, we'll visit a local fruit plantation, where we'll learn all about the most famous fruits in the country, how they're grown, and, most importantly, how they taste. Delicious!

After 9 hours, the activity will finish back at the starting point.

Hotel Pickup

During the booking process, you'll be asked to choose the hotel or hotel area where you're staying that you'd like to be picked up from at the following times: 

• Senator Hotel Puerto Plata: pickup at 6:45 am
• Cofresí Palm Beach & Spa Resort: pickup at 7 am
• Costa Dorada (Puerto Plata): pickup at 7:30 am
• Playa Dorada (Puerto Plata): pickup at 7:45 am
• Sosúa: pickup at 7:45 am
• Cabarete: pickup at 8 am
• Río San Juan: pickup at 10 am
