Tulum Full-Day Trip

Allow yourself to be seduced by one of the best beaches on the Riviera Maya, with this excursion to Tulum, an impressive archaeological site on the banks of the Mexican Caribbean.

Tulum Full-Day Trip

We'll pick you up from the meeting point and hit the road south following the coast of the Riviera Maya.

After a trajectory of approximately two hours along the Carribean coast, originally known as the "Sunrise City" we arrive at Tulum. Here we'll learn the secrets of the Mayans in a guided tour of the Tulum archaeological site.

The most important monument in the enclave is known as the castle. In fact Tulum means 'wall' in Mayan, and being situated on a hill we can take in panoramic views of the Carribean. The Mayans took advantage of this privileged location to construct a lighthouse which guided the ships sailing along this part of the Mexican coast.

On our tour of the old walled city we will also visit important buildings in the area such as the Temple of Frescoes, known for the paintings of Mayan deities which can be seen to this day. And on its rooftop, the Mayans built an astronomical observatory, which allowed them to make their famous, and sometimes macabre prophecies...

This area is known for having some of the most beautiful beaches in the Riviera Maya, ao before hitting the road back to the Cancún hotel area, we will give you an hour and a half of free time to swim or look around Tulum on your own.
