Rovaniemi Full-Day City Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet at Maakuntakatu 29-31 in Rovaniemi and set off on this fantastic experience.
First, we'll visit Santa's Arctic Wildlife Park, an idyllic sanctuary where you'll get up close to Santa Claus's favorite Arctic animals, including the majestic reindeer.
We'll then head to the magical Santa Claus Village, where you'll meet Santa Claus in person. We'll also cross the Arctic Circle line and you'll receive an official certificate to prove it. You'll have free time to browse the craft shops and, if you fancy it, send a letter from the Official Santa Post Office with the special elves' stamp. Ho, ho, ho!
At midday, we'll stop for a delicious buffet lunch to recharge. We'll then connect with nature by climbing to the highest point in Rovaniemi: Ounasvaara Hill, where spectacular panoramic views of the boreal forests and rivers surrounding the city await.
We'll round off the experience with a visit to the prestigious Arktikum Science Centre and Museum, where we'll learn about local history from the Ice Age, the rich culture of the indigenous Sami people, Arctic wildlife, and enjoy interactive projections about the fascinating northern lights.
Finally, we'll head back to the starting point in Rovaniemi, where we'll say our goodbyes.
