White sand, rugged cliffs, coral reefs, sea lion colonies and historic rollercoasters... San Diego has beautiful beaches to suit every taste. Live the Californian dream on this guided tour!
San Diego Beaches Tour Itinerary
On the day of your tour, meet your guide at the picturesque Santa Fe train station for your journey to La Jolla, an elegant seafront neighbourhood where you'll find one of San Diego's most popular beaches. Witness the fusion of luxury and nature as you marvel at the dramatic cliffs leading down to pristine white sand and sparkling turquoise waters.
After exploring La Jolla's rugged coves, you'll head to Seal Beach, which, as its name suggests, is home to wild colonies of seals and sea lions. Want to meet its famous inhabitants? Watch as the marine mammals swim or bask on the rocks under the Californian sun - don't forget to say hello!
Enjoy a tranquil stroll along the coast to get the best possible view of Mount Soledad, a hill which overlooks the city from its 824 feet (251 metres) in height. You'll also pass by Torrey Pines, San Diego's most famous golf course and the favourite place to play of none other than Tiger Woods!
Reaching Mission Beach, you'll find yourself in one of the city's most visited districts, thanks to its beautiful beaches and the historic theme park which has been open to visitors since 1925. Belmont Park is a major attraction, and its most iconic ride is the Big Dipper, a wooden rollercoaster that is still in operation to this day.
Finally, you'll visit Black's Beach, a popular location amongst surfers located to the north of La Jolla Shores. Your tour will come to an end at around 3 pm, back at your original departure point.
