At 8:15 am, we'll see you at your chosen meeting point and board a minibus that'll take us to Cefalù. The drive to this city in northern Sicily will take around 2 hours.
When we get there, you'll have around 3 hours 30 minutes of free time to explore Cefalù and sample its exquisite gastronomy. The Cathedral, the old harbour, the medieval laundry and more symbolic sights await!
If you like hiking, we recommend going on a hike to the Rocca. This 880-foot (268-metre) promontory offers incredible panoramic views of the city and its beautiful beaches. At this spot you'll also find an ancient Norman castle and the Temple of Diana, which dates back to the 9th century BC.
We'll then reconvene and take the minibus to our next destination, which is Castelbuono. When we arrive, you'll have 1 hour 30 minutes of free time to explore the town.
Famous for its carnival, its cheeses and its panettone, Castelbuono also has a charming, small historic centre nestled in the mountains of Madonia.
During your visit, we recommend exploring the outside of the Ventimiglia Castle. This ancient fortress dates back to 1316 and has been converted into a stately palace. As well as this building, you'll also come across a Renaissance fountain and several churches such as the Matrice Nuova or the Church of San Francesco.
It'll then be time to take you back to the meeting point, where we'll arrive at 7:30 pm.
