Let the charms of Andalusia seduce you on this day trip to Ronda. Discover picturesque whitewashed houses, marvel at the dramatic gorge and its historic bridge and visit a traditional bodega where you'll enjoy a tasting of local wine.

Ronda Day Trip & Winery Tour Itinerary

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Sevilla. Throughout your two-hour journey on a comfortable luxury bus, enjoy the views over the stunning mountainous landscapes you'll pass by, including the Sierra de GrazalemaSierra de las Nieves and Los Alcornocales Natural Parks.

Arriving in the typical Andalusian whitewashed city of Ronda, you'll be taken on a fascinating guided tour of one of Spain's oldest and most picturesque towns. Your guide will explain the area's history and talk about its geography, divided in two by the Guadalevín River and its dramatic gorge.

Wander through Ronda's historic centre, discovering the Puente Nuevo, or New Bridge, and strolling down narrow winding streets to reach the town's most emblematic places of interest, like the Mondragon Palace and the Casa de Don Bosco. You'll also visit the 17th century Plaza de Toros, or Bullring, particularly important here as Ronda is considered the birthplace of bullfighting in Spain.

Finishing up your guided visit, you'll have free time to explore Ronda at your own pace. Relax, buy souvenirs at one of the many local stores, or simply enjoy walking through one of Andalusia's most beautiful historic towns.

You'll then be taken to the Cortijo de los Aguilares Bodega, or winery, located on the outskirts of the town. There, guided by an expert in wine, you'll learn how wine is produced here, from picking the vines up to it being poured into your glass.

Finally, following the presentation and guided tour of the winery, you'll indulge in a tasting of the bodega's best wine accompanied by delicious local tapas.

Your day trip will then come to an end, returning to Seville, where the excursion ends.
