Formula 1: Chinese Grand Prix 2026

The Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix 2026 will once again place Shanghai at the center of the motorsport world. The Shanghai International Circuit will be the stage where speed, strategy, and excitement come together for an unforgettable weekend.

From March 13 to 15, 2026, you’ll experience the intensity of Formula 1 from the very first moment, when the lights go out and the main straight turns into a full-power explosion. From the opening laps, the legendary Turn 1, with its spiral layout, will demand nerves of steel and absolute precision.

Throughout the weekend, with your Formula 1 tickets, you’ll witness how the best drivers in the world push their single-seaters to the limit. Stars like Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, or Fernando Alonso will face off in a true duel of talent, experience, and ambition.

The Shanghai Circuit is a strategic challenge thanks to its long corners that test tire endurance, while the heaviest braking zones create clear overtaking opportunities. The long back straight, one of the longest in the championship, will be the perfect place for DRS attacks and last-second defensive moves. And you’ll have the privilege of seeing it live.

Types of Tickets

When booking, you’ll be able to choose between 2 types of tickets:

  • 1 Day Pass Grandstand B: with this 1-day ticket, you’ll see overtaking attempts, aggressive racing lines, and costly mistakes at Turn 6.
  • 3 Day Pass Grandstand B: with this ticket, you’ll follow the full evolution over all 3 days, also around Turn 6. More chances to see how drivers adjust their lines from practice through to the race. The full Formula 1 experience.

At the following link, you can see a map with the layout of the zones and grandstands at the Shanghai Circuit.

Ticket Validity

The Chinese Grand Prix 2026 takes place from March 13 to 15, 2026. Keep in mind that, when making your booking, you can choose either a 1-day or a 3-day pass to watch the sessions live. The 1-day pass is only valid on March 13 or 14, depending on your choice. The 3-day pass is valid for all 3 days. So, regardless of whether you book for March 13, 14, or 15, your voucher will be valid for the full 3-day event.

China Maritime Museum

As well as enjoying the excitement of Formula 1, all these tickets include access to the China Maritime Museum, a perfect plan to slow things down a bit.

Located in the Lingang area, southeast of Shanghai, this museum is one of the largest in Asia dedicated to naval history. Inside, you’ll discover China’s centuries-old relationship with the sea, from ancient ships and exploration maps to interactive exhibits.
