Sirkka Tours & Activities | Best Things to Do in Finland

Nestled in the heart of Finnish Lapland, Sirkka is a charming village known for its winter wonderland landscapes and magical Northern Lights. This small, picturesque destination offers visitors a unique chance to experience authentic Arctic adventures, from snowmobile safaris to reindeer sleigh rides and unforgettable nights under the auroras.

A Glimpse into the Past

Once a modest Lappish village, Sirkka grew in popularity thanks to its proximity to Levi, the largest ski resort in Finland. The village has managed to keep its genuine atmosphere while embracing tourism, making it an ideal spot to experience tradition and modern comfort side by side.

Best Time to Visit

Winter is undoubtedly the high season, with snow blankets from November to April, perfect for winter sports and viewing the Northern Lights. However, the midnight sun in summer transforms the landscape, offering endless daylight for hiking and outdoor activities.

Are there activities for families?

Absolutely! Sirkka offers family-friendly activities such as husky sledding, snowshoeing, and visits to Santa’s village—fun for visitors of all ages.

What should I pack?

For winter trips, bring thermal layers, a warm jacket, waterproof boots, gloves, and a hat. In summer, pack lighter clothes, but don't forget a sweater for cooler evenings.
