Aunque el camino desde Sofía es largo, merece mucho la pena la visita, la fortaleza y su entorno son espectaculares. El tour además lo realizamos en un grupo muy reducido, lo que mejora mucho la experiencia. El tour a la fortaleza es precioso; y además visitamos las cuevas de Magura, un acierto sin duda aunque si las visitáis, llevad una chaqueta a mano (esta a 5º). También comimos en un restaurante local conncomida típica exquisito y a muy buen precio. The tour to the fortress is beautiful; and we also visited the Magura Caves, a definite highlight, although if you visit them, bring a jacket (it's 5°C). We also ate at a local restaurant with delicious traditional food at a very good price. El guía y conductor, Andrey, muy atento desde el primer momento contándose historia, cultura y la vida del país. De est forma se nos hizo mas ameno el lado viaje hasta la fortaleza. La fortaleza es impresionante( aunque nos tocó visitarla con un molesto escenario en medio). Andrey estuvo todo el tiempo con nosotros. El itinerario decía que veríamos el pueblo y solamente estuvimos comiendo en un banco. Dentro del lugar de la excursión tuve muy poca información sobre el lugar e historia, que dado el dinero que se ha pagado me esperaba más, estuvimos más tiempo viajando que estando en el lugar de la excursión y nos decepciono la verdad. El guia era majo pero no tenía casi información de los lugares o ganas de contar más sobre el lugar. Recomiendo alquilar un coche e ir por tu cuenta.

The itinerary said we'd see the town, but we only ended up eating lunch on a bench. We received very little information about the place and its history during the tour, which, given the price, I expected.
