Stockholm Wildlife Safari
Activity Details
We'll meet at Tideliusgatan Street at the scheduled time. Once we're all gathered, we'll hop on a minibus that'll take us to discover the wildlife inhabiting Stockholm's forests!
Depending on the season, the safari will change. In summer, we'll focus on spotting moose, roe deer, fallow deer, and wild boar, although we'll probably cross paths with foxes, badgers, and even owls. We'll follow trails during the hike and visit strategic points in our minibus.
In winter, the landscape will be covered in snow, and the experience will be almost magical. We'll walk through forests and fields, learning how to read tracks in the snow before traveling by vehicle to the areas with high activity. We'll use a strong lantern to see in the dark and try to spot animals that come out at night.
After enjoying the safari through the forests of Stockholm, we'll sit around a campfire to refuel with a snack, which will vary according to the season.
Finally, we'll return to the starting point after a total of 5 hours.
Animal Watching
Animals are fairly unpredictable creatures, so we can't promise a sighting. The guide will do everything possible to spot them, but we cannot guarantee that all animals will be seen, as we will not feed them to lure them in any way.
