Underground Shelter + Szczecin Cathedral Tower Tour
Underground Shelter + Szczecin Cathedral Tower Tour
We'll meet in front of the entrance of Szczecin railway station at 11:45 am. Ready to check out the largest underground shelter in Poland? We're sure you'll be amazed!
We'll head to the Szczecin shelter, used by residents during the air raids of World War II. As we descend farther into its corridors, we'll travel back in time, recalling moments from one of the most difficult times for the Polish.
After touring the entire shelter and learning about the history of the city, we'll return to the surface and head to the historic center of Szczecin. Strolling along the Odra River boulevards and through the Hay Market square, we'll reach the Szczecin Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle.
See that tall tower? That's where we're headed! We'll enter the cathedral and take the elevator to the top of the temple's tower. From here, we'll have 360-degree views of the city - you won't want to come down!
The tour will conclude at the entrance of the cathedral around 2:15 pm.
