    Highly recommend this Toledo and Segovia day trip from Madrid through Civitatis! We booked the night before and it ended up being one of the highlights of our Spain trip. The bus was comfortable with great A/C, and both cities were absolutely beautiful and full of history. Gabby was an amazing guide. She was friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. Victor did a fantastic job navigating the busy roads and closures in Madrid. Even at 11 hours, the tour never felt rushed. Worth every euro!

    A great way to see the city and learn about its diverse history. Our guide Samuel was fantastic, very knowledgeable and super informative. The tour did run slightly over time but it was due to the level of engagement from the group and passion exhibited by Samuel.

History

Toledo Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture in Spain, was begun in 1226 under King Ferdinand III and consecrated in 1273. It stands on the site of a former mosque, reflecting the rich cultural tapestry of Toledo.
