Local Food and Wine Tasting in an Osmiza
We'll meet up at a time of your choice in Piazza Oberdan square. Then we leave Trieste behind and head into the Mavhinje-Malchina region, located near the border with Slovenia.
Once we have arrived, we will enter a local Osmiza - a traditional tavern for the peasants and farmers in this area of the country. Here you will enjoy a fantastic tasting of regional food and wine.
Inside, you will meet your local host who will tell you all about the preparation that takes place here. You will also hear all about each of the fantastic products, as you taste them: olive oil, homemade sausages, cheese, and eggs. All this will be accompanied by the finest regional wine.
After a fantastic two-hour experience in the traditional Osmiza, we will take you back to the original departure point in Trieste.
