Milan by High Speed Train
On the day of the tour, you'll head to Turin's Porta Nuova Train Station. The high speed train will leave for Milan between 9 and 10 am, with an estimated journey time of one hour.
Once you arrive in Milan, an assistant will be waiting for you to give you a map of the Italian city and a ticket to use the tourist bus throughout the day. From then you'll have seven hours of free time to wander around the city.
You could stroll through the Lombardy capital's historic centre until you reach the San Nazaro Basilica and continue towards the University of Milan. Did you know that it is one of the largest universities in Europe?
The majestic Milan Cathedral is a stop that can't be missed while you're visiting the city. Next to the Duomo you'll also find the Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery, with its beautiful crystal dome and golden corridors. And just a short walk away is the Sforza Castle, built in the 15th century by the Duke of Milan and is now home to museums and art collections.
In the afternoon, you'll go back to Milan train station. The high speed train station will leave for Turin between 6 pm and 8 pm.
The timetables indicated are approximate. After booking, we'll send you an e-mail with the exact times and the train tickets. You must print them and go to Turin train station, arriving at the terminal at least 30 minutes before the train departs.
To return to Turin, it is also advisable to arrive at Milan Train Station at least half an hour before the train departs.
