The National Museum of Cinema hosts an impressive collection relating to the Seventh Art.
The museum is divided into themes: Cinema Archaeology, Temple Hall, and the Cinema Machine. Cinematic archives, props used in well-known films, and huge cinema screens with daily screenings await you!

National Museum of Cinema
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 9 am - 8 pm
- Saturday: 9 am - 11 pm
Last entry at the National Museum of Cinema is 1 hour before closing time.
Sightseeing Bus
- Between April and October, there are 3 bus lines: the red line, the blue line, and the green line. The red line runs every 60 minutes from 10 am to 4 pm, the blue line runs every 90 minutes from 9:30 am to 6 pm, and the green line (operative Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) runs every 2 hours from 9:45 am to 3:45 pm.
- Between November and March, only the red line operates: daily, every hour from 10 am to 4 pm.
- On Sunday, March 26, service will be suspended until 11:45 am. The first departure of the day will take place at 12 pm from the bus terminal.
How it works
The entrance ticket to the National Museum of Cinema is valid for 48 consecutive hours once it's first used. For instance, if you use the ticket for the first time on Monday at 3 pm, you can enjoy the activities included until Wednesday at 3 pm. Tickets must be exchanged on board the tourist bus or in Piazza Castello. We'll inform you of all the details after booking.
You'll also have 24 consecutive hours to hop on and off the buses as much as you like.
