Day Trip to the Humantay Lagoon
At the indicated time we'll set off toward the town of Mollepata. Don't worry, the early start will totally be worth it!
Upon arrival in Mollepata, we'll enjoy a delicious and energizing breakfast, before making our way to Soraypampa. From there, we'll begin our 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, which is nestled in the Andes more than 4200 meters (13,800 feet) above sea level!
During the entire journey through the Andes Mountains, we'll enjoy beautiful scenery and learn about the plants and wildlife native to this area. Once we reach the top of the mountain, you'll have free time to take pictures and truly take in the incredible surroundings.
We'll then make our way back to the campsite, where we'll enjoy a traditional lunch alongside the spectacular views.
We'll conclude the activity by returning to our meeting point.
Pickup
Please note that we only pick up from hotels in the Plaza de Armas and the historic centre of Urubamba, Ollantaytambo or Yucay. If you're staying in other more remote areas, we'll indicate a meeting point.
End of the tour
Upon booking, you'll be able to choose where to end the tour from the following options:
- Your accommodation in the Sacred Valley (Urubamba, Ollantaytambo or Yucay).
- In the historic centre of Cusco: next to the Plaza de Armas, between Calle Heladeros and Calle Regocijo.
