The visit has been excellent. Mar seems like a great guide and, in addition, he has made the route very enjoyable for us. I would definitely recommend her to my acquaintances.

Come and see the most iconic Valencia. On our free tour, you'll find out the history of how Valencia developed into a city full of prosperous and impressive monuments.

Modernist Valencia Free Tour

At the appointed time, we'll meet in the center at the Colon Market to begin this free tour of modernist Valencia. Discover one of the best examples of the modernist style including the bullfighting arena, the train station packed full of colourful ceramics, the city hall, and important family houses.

Our first stop will be the Casa del Punt de Ganxo, one of the characteristic works of 19th century modernism. Here we'll discover its imposing façade decorated with large balconies and the striking sculpture that presides over the main door.

The tour will continue along Calle de la Paz to admire its modernist buildings and, before you know it, you'll come to the famous Estación del Norte, one of the most beautiful stations in Spain. Do you know why? Its façade decorated with ceramics resembling oranges and its interior decorated with mosaics and tiles are a real eye-catcher.

On the last part of this free tour, we'll stop at Town Hall Square. You'll be familiar with it, as it's the place where one of the most important and representative events of the Valencian Fallas is celebrated: the Mascletá. While we're here, we'll discuss some fun facts about the famous Fallas.

We'll then continue exploring Valencia's streets and coming across iconic buildings such as the Banco València or the Marqués de Dos Aguas building.

Having spent 2 hours 30 minutes immersing ourselves in modernist Valencia, our tour will come to an end near the Plaza Redonda.
