Tour Details
After meeting at the indicated time at the meeting point in Valencia, we'll take a road trip for 1 hour towards the town of Requena, the birthplace of Valencian wine.
Once we reach this inland town in the province, we'll walk around its old town, passing in front of the Iglesia de Santa María. During this first part of the tour, we'll tell you some facts. For example, did you know that there are many houses in Requena built on top of caves that are used as wine cellars?
To find out for yourself, we'll visit Murviedro winery for a tour of its enigmatic caves and stop inside one of them to taste a glass of wine. Afterward, we'll go to the tasting room to taste another two wines accompanied by an apéritif.
Then, we'll head to the neighboring town of Utiel to visit the Vera de Estenas winery. In this family winery, we'll tour the facilities and enjoy the tranquility of its beautiful vineyards. Here, we'll enjoy a tasting of three wines paired with cheeses and charcuterie meats.
Finally, we'll head back to the starting point in Valencia and end the tour after 6 hours.
