Starting from Victoria Falls, on this 7-day safari, you'll explore the Hwange and Matobo National Parks before finally arriving in Johannesburg. A trip of a lifetime!
Zimbabwe Safari: Victoria Falls to Johannesburg
Day 1: Victoria Falls
We'll meet at 6 pm in the hotel and the guide will give you all the information about the rest of your trip. Before officially starting the safari, you could explore the beautiful Victoria Falls. In fact, we recommend that you arrive before the day of the safari so that you can really make the most of this incredible natural environment. Thrill-seekers could enjoy bungee jumping or ziplining, whilst those that want to experience local culture could take a trip to a traditional village (additional activities not included).
Day 2: Victoria Falls – Hwange National Park
We'll start the day with a delicious breakfast, which will give us the energy to set off on our adventure. We'll head to the region of the Hwange National Park; the biggest national park in Zimbabwe, at approximately 14,650 square kilometres large. You'll climb onboard a 4X4 convertible and enjoy a classic safari experience, seeing all the incredible wildlife in its natural habitat. You'll also have the chance to go on a nighttime safari (not included) for a truly unique way to spend an evening, seeing animals such as porcupines and leopards.
Day 3: Hwange – Bulawayo
On the third day, we'll head towards Bulawayo, where we'll stay for the next two nights. This is a beautiful scenic area that is sure to impress.
Day 4: Matobo National Park
We'll spend the whole day exploring this incredible national park. Keep your eyes out for white and black rhino, sable antelope and much more wildlife! We'll then head back to the hotel to watch the sunset over the outback.
Day 5: Bulawayo – Musina
In the morning, we'll leave the hotel and set off for the South African border, ready to cross over for the second half of our safari. We'll stay in the heart of the world's largest concentration of Baobab trees.
Day 6: Musina – Johannesburg
We'll leave Musina and make our way to Johannesburg for our final night. This is the biggest city in South Africa and you can make the most of your time here to visit some of its main attractions, such as the Gold Reef City amusement park (tickets not included) or the hop-on-hop-off bus (not included).
