Private Tour of Zahara de la Sierra
Private Tour of Zahara de la Sierra
At the time of your choice, we'll meet at Calle Nueva in Zahara de la Sierra, ready to start our private guided walking tour around this beautiful Andalusian village, located next to the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park.
During the route, we'll reveal the history of Zahara de la Sierra's most important places of interest, leaving you time to take hundreds of pictures. What's more, as this is a private tour, it's flexible, meaning we can spend more time in areas that catch your attention. You can decide what we visit!
We can go to Lepanto Square, which offers a privileged view of the impressive Castle of Zahara de la Sierra, originally built as a Moorish defensive outpost but later taken over by a Duke of Cadiz.
The private tour will take you to see the Chapel of San Juan de Letrán, built on the site where the town's mosque used to stand. You'll be able to see how the architecture of its façade varies greatly from its bell tower. The reason? The clock tower was built three centuries before the temple.
Accompanied by your guide, you'll also be able to see the Church of Santa María de la Mesa, the Town Hall, and some of the most spectacular viewpoints in Zahara de la Sierra.
After an hour and a half of sightseeing, we'll finish the private tour in Plaza del Rey or in any other central point of your choice.
