We’ll meet outside St. Peter’s Church and from there we’ll start to discover the secrets of the gastronomy in this region in northern India.
The tour will last for approximately two hours, during which time you’ll learn all about the most typical dishes in Mussoorie. To do this, we’ll enter the city’s oldest shop, where you’ll be able to enjoy the first food tasting. We don’t want to give too much away, but you’re sure to be impressed by what we find inside this shop.
Next, we’ll explore the street stalls, all of which are full of exotic species and ingredients that have led to Indian cuisine being one of the country’s most famous exports. You’ll be able to try true Pahadi cuisine, including the famous bun omelette. We hope you’re hungry!
Of course, a food tour wouldn’t be complete without a dessert. So next, we’ll visit the traditional coffee shop where you’ll be able to enjoy a coffee or Masala tea, one of the region’s specialities, as well as a delicious dessert.
