At the designated time, we'll meet at Haigh's Chocolates Adelaide Arcade and kick off a delicious food tour of Adelaide, the perfect occasion to discover the most popular flavors in the Australian city.
In the famous shopping area of Adelaide Arcade, we'll start to stroll around the food stands of this market to discover the history behind its most traditional dishes, as well as its most iconic stores. The best way to begin the tour is at this very meeting point, a chocolate shop where we'll listen to the story of this family-owned business. You'll even get to try its chocolate!
After this sweet treat, we'll continue discovering Adelaide's cuisine in Rundle Mall, the main street of the city. Here, you'll see many food stores, which are crucial to understanding the influence of the most cooked recipes in Adelaide.
Our next stop will take us to Balfours Cafe, where we'll taste some typical desserts decorated in a fascinating way. They're green and look like frogs! These desserts are one of the most symbolic and special treats in Adelaide. Then, we'll stop at a nut stand, where, along with nuts, you'll taste chocolate and tea.
We'll continue the food tour at the Adelaide Central Market, the most important market in the city. Did you know it has over 70 stands dedicated to food?
