Panoramic Tour of Bariloche's Chico Circuit
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and head out along Avenida Ezequiel Bustillo in search of the brilliant landscapes that characterize San Carlos de Bariloche.
Our first stop of the day is at Playa Bonita, on the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi. From here, we can see Isla Huemul, a now uninhabited island that holds a very dark past that we'll discover along the way.
We'll continue bordering the lake until we reach the Cerro Campanario hill. Many travelers attempt to summit the hill that reaches a towering 1,050 meters (3,444 feet) but often opt for the famous chair lift instead. The incredible views at the top are well worth the climb!
Next up, we'll head towards Hotel Llao-Llao, a building declared a National Historic Monument. Here, we'll admire its architecture from the outside as an icon of Bariloche and learn about its history. Nearby, we'll find the Llao-Llao Municipal Park. This incredible natural treasure will surprise you with its wealth of environmental heritage.
Afterward, we'll head to Angostura Bridge, where Moreno Lake meets Lake Nahuel Huapi, creating an unforgettable landscape before our eyes. From here, we'll explore Bahía Lopez, a favorite spot among locals to connect with nature. Then, we'll go to Cerro Capilla, another well-known mountain peak of the area.
Up next, we'll go up to the Punto Panorámico, where we'll admire the breathtaking landscapes of the area. From here, we'll be able to see the Llao Llao peninsula and the lakes below, the classic postcard image of Bariloche.
Last up, we'll cross the Moreno Lake Bridge, from where we can see El Treból Lake, leaving you with a final panorama before the end of our route.
Finally, after an incredible 4 hours of sightseeing, we'll return to Bariloche, dropping you off at your hotel.
