Cebu City & Mactan Tour
At 8:30 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Cebu and set off across the Marcelo Fernan Bridge, which separates Cebu City from the island of Mactan.
Our first stop will be the Mactan Shrine, a monument dedicated to the Filipino hero Lapu-Lapu, where you'll admire his golden statue! Next, we'll learn about more of the country's culture with a visit to Alegre Guitar Factory where we'll learn all about the manufacturing process.
We'll stop to have lunch in a typical restaurant before making our way to the Taoist Temple or Fort San Pedro, where we'll enjoy spectacular views. After this, we'll enjoy a panoramic bus tour of the city centre, passing by the Cebu Provincial Capitol, the Osmena Fountain and heading down Colon Street.
Our next stop will be the Yap – San Diego Ancestral House. At over 300 years old, it still maintains its original essence. We'll also visit the Magellan’s Cross and learn about Cebu's relationship with this explorer. Lastly, we'll head to the Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino, and find out why it's such an important place for Filipinos.
Our tour will end at the Ayala Center in Cebu at about 3:30 pm.
