Tour Details

Have you ever tried Uruguay's best wines? At the indicated time, we'll meet at the main square in Colonia del Sacramento and from there we'll head to Carmelo, an increasingly recognized wine region in the country.

After about an hour's drive, we'll arrive at the boutique winery, El Legado. There, we'll take a tour of the facilities to learn about the history of the founding family, as well as their work ethic and commitment to quality. We'll tour the vineyards surrounding the winery and enter the cellar, where we'll see the oak barrels in which the wines are aged.

Later, it will be time to prepare our palates, and sit down to a tasting of 4 wines. The first will be a white Viognier, aromatic and fresh, ideal to awaken the taste buds. Next will come the Syrah Reserva, having aged a full year in an oak barrel, whose flavor will envelop us with its unique notes and elegant body.

Our journey continues with the Tannat Reserva, the region's flagship variety, intense and robust. To close, we'll taste a Blend Gran Reserva, served directly from the barrel. All will be accompanied by a fresh cheese and charcuterie board that will enhance each sip.

With our senses fully awakened, we’ll head to Pueblo Tannat, the second winery on our journey, known for its bold character and meticulously crafted experience. We'll be welcomed by a sommelier, with whom we'll have a talk about the project and the winemaking methods. We'll also tour the vineyards and visit the winemaking room and cellar.

During the tasting at Pueblo Tannat we'll taste 3 wines. We'll start with one from the Joven line, perfect for those who enjoy soft wines. Then, we'll move on to one from the Ánforas line, vinified in Spanish clay, which gives it a peculiar texture and aroma.

We'll finish with a Blend Reserva, a complex, round, and limited production wine. On this occasion, each wine will be accompanied by gourmet tapas of regional seasonal products, prepared by the chefs of the winery's restaurant.

Then, after the vibrant experience of flavors, we'll return to the initial meeting point, 6.5 hours later.

Please Note

Please note that you will only have a guide during the visits to the wineries, not during the transfers.
