Get your ticket to the Galata Maritime Museum in Genoa and enjoy one of the largest nautical exhibitions in the Mediterranean.
Discover a 17th-century ship and find out about the famous voyage of Christopher Columbus or Italian immigration to America.
What's more, a virtual reality experience will show you what sailors faced during storms on the high seas. And you can't leave the museum without heading outside to admire the S518 Nazario Sauro, a submarine built in 1976.
- From March to October: Monday to Sunday from 10 am to 7.30 pm.
- From November to February: Tuesday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 am to 7:30 pm.
Last entry is an hour and a half before closing time.
Disabled people, over 65s, children under 12 and military personnel can get a discounted ticket.
