Immerse yourself in the magic of Granada: explore the incredible Alhambra, one of the most visited monuments in Spain, and discover the best of the city thanks to the fascinating explanations of an audioguide.
What to expect at the Alhambra?
Visiting the Alhambra is an unmissable activity if you're in Granada: in fact, with more than two and a half million visitors every year, it's the most visited monument in Spain. The breathtakingly beautiful palace fortress, perched atop a hill in front of the dramatic Sierra Nevada mountain range, is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
The citadel, a spectacular jewel of Islamic architecture that Moorish poets described as "a pearl set in emeralds", is an impressive complex of palaces and gardens that will leave you in awe. Did you know that "Alhambra" means "the red"? You'll soon discover why!
Your ticket to the Alhambra will give you access to the entire monumental site: explore the Alcazaba, or military fortress; the Charles V Palace; the stunning Nasrid Palaces and the carefully landscaped Generalife gardens. You'll be truly captivated by this glorious corner of Andalusia.
Included in your ticket is an audioguide in six languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese) thanks to which you'll be able to hear fascinating explanations about all of the places of interest in Granada, from the Alhambra itself to different routes around the city. You'll have 48 hours to use the audioguide at your own pace, and what's more, you'll be given a tourist map to help you find your way around.
If you'd prefer, we also offer a Guided Tour of the Alhambra.
