Grutas de Botuverá Day Tour

We'll pick you up at 7:30 am at your hotel in Itajaí for the Botuverá Caves Park, located in the municipality of Ourinho. Did you know that they are the largest caves in southern Brazil?

These caves were formed by erosion 65 million years ago and there is only one known entrance to them. Prepare to go deep into the bowels of the earth and explore its mysteries. The Botuverá Caves are 1200 metres long and have a multitude of passages and cavities created by nature itself, some of which are up to 20 metres high!

We'll stroll through the corridors of these caverns whilst admiring the natural calcite sculptures. You will be able to contemplate the karstic caves full of stalactites and stalagmites. You will become a true explorer.

Finally, we will leave the heart of the earth and return to the surface. We'll head back to Itajaí and drop you off at your hotels at around 1:30 pm.
