Grindelwald, Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen Day Trip
Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll depart from the Landenberg bus parking lot to begin a scenic journey through the Swiss countryside. We’ll cross the Brünig Pass until we reach Interlaken, the heart of the region, where we’ll make our first stop to admire its privileged location between lakes.
Next, we will continue to Grindelwald, a charming mountain village surrounded by the impressive peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. Here, you will have around 3.5 hours of free time to explore at your own pace. You can stroll among rustic chalets, take a cable car up to First Cliff Walk by Tissot on Mount First, hike to the idyllic Bachalpsee, visit the Glacier Canyon Grindelwald, or head up to Pfingstegg for spectacular views.
After enjoying Grindelwald, we’ll meet up again to head to Lauterbrunnen. This valley is famous for its 72 waterfalls and imposing rock faces. You’ll have free time to stroll through its streets and admire the Staubbach Falls, the third-highest in Switzerland.
Finally, we’ll take the bus back to the starting point in Lucerne, where this 10-hour trip will end.
