Let yourself be captivated by inland Switzerland! On this cruise on Lake Lucerne, we'll enjoy a unique journey across the so-called Lake of the Four Cantons aboard a beautiful steamboat, where you'll delight your palate with an exquisite five-course menu.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the dock located at number 5 of Landungsbrücke street, right next to Lucerne Train Station.

From this pier, we'll set sail aboard the Gallia, a beautiful steamboat that will take us across Lake Lucerne. The captain of the ship will welcome us to this very special cruise, known as Legends of Lake Lucerne, during which we'll learn about the mysteries and legends of the lake. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful natural areas in the interior of Switzerland!

In addition to entertaining us with stories about Lake Lucerne, the cruise includes a delicious 5-course lunch served in the ship's dining room. It will be a great culinary experience!

After setting sail, we'll begin our journey across the lake, sailing past Meggenhorn Castle. We'll then cruise along the Weggis riviera and continue along the coastline of Vitznau and Beckenried towards the panoramic restaurant Haus Zur Treib, which is perched on a hill.

Afterwards, we'll continue sailing alongside the Rütli meadow and Tellskapelle. According to legend, it was here that William Tell started the Swiss rebellion against the rule of Albrecht Gessler. To learn more about the history of this hero, we'll sail to the Schiller Stone, a monument on the shore of the lake that pays tribute to the German poet Friedrich Schiller, author of the play William Tell.

While we enjoy all these landscapes, the on-board guide will recount legends of Lake Lucerne. In this way, we'll learn about the story of Schiller and Tell. We'll also talk about Queen Victoria's trip to Mount Pilatus. As we'll see, these inland areas of Switzerland also captivated other famous figures, such as the writer Mark Twain.

Finally, we'll begin our return journey while enjoying beautiful panoramic views of Mount Pilatus. After a 5-hour trip, we'll conclude our cruise at the departure pier.
