Luxury Option with Private Bathroom
What we liked:
Guide Mohamed was friendly, spoke excellent Spanish, and made the ride enjoyable.
Comfortable Van
Desert views & camel ride
Punctual & Flexible itinerary—able to skip / add stops as the group preferred
To review:
First night’s hotel felt more like a hostel, with poor water pressure and no hot water in some rooms.
Lunches were disappointing - basic restaurants/salons
Desert camp felt a bit abandoned.
Too little time in the desert (7pm to 8am).
The overall experience was very good, despite a few small inconveniences.
Negative aspects:
- There was no air conditioning on the bus.
- The bus to the experience location was extremely dusty.
- Most people spoke Spanish, and very few communicated in English, even though the Civitatis website mentioned that the guide would speak English.
- The staff had issues finding my booking.
Positive aspects:
- The camel ride and evening show were terrific.
- Dinner was ok.
