    Alfredo and his daughter Ana took good care of us. They make the tour very informative with details that we did not know about the Basilica of Guadalupe. We enjoyed the tour very much. I told Alfredo that I came to see Guadalupe virgin for a miracle for my husband. Then when the tour finished Alfredo took us to an area to pray, got a big candle from his bag, light it up and we started praying together. I am confident that the miracle will come true soon. Thanks a million Alfredo & Ana.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, located in the north of Mexico City, is a Roman Catholic church and the chief religious centre in the country.

History

The Basilica of Guadalupe was built between 1974 and 1976 to replace an 18th century church. The replacement structure has a capacity for 50,000 people and receives around 10 million visitors each year, making it the second-most-visited Catholic shrine in the world.
