Piedro was a fantastic guide. He knows a lot about the National park and nature. We had a good hike in a beautiful area and some relaxing time near a mountain river. You can also have a dip if you want to. The food was delicious. Piedro’s suggestions to visit a traditional village and a castle made the trip memorable. On the way back we had a coffee & ice cream at the lake. Highly recommended.
In spite of the rain, we had a wonderful tour of Bom Jesus do Monte with Joana. As we found with every guide we've had, the knowledge is far deeper than what the guide can tell us in the short tour time but Joana was able to answer all of our questions. We very much enjoyed the tour. I would have preferred to walk down the steps but the rain was intimidating so we took the slanted funicular. We thought we'd have a view of the steps the whole way down but it passed through trees.
