Boat Ride Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at the dock at the Port Arthur Historic Site to climb on board a boat that will take us to sail along the spectacular landscapes of the Tasman Peninsula. Get ready to set sail!

We'll start to navigate the waters of the Tasman Sea, enjoying the scenic views of the majestic cliffs and rock formations that have made this region famous. Did you know that the Cape Raoul cliffs rise over 820 feet (250 meters) high and are 170 million years old? Amazing!

As we sail, we'll pass by emblematic sites, such as Point Puer and Isle of the Dead, both filled with history. We'll also reach the white sands of Safety Cove Beach and the dunes of Crescent Bay, a corner hidden among the rocky coast. You'll also admire from the water the stunning Cape Pillar, the island of Tasmania, and Arthur Head, where the views of the coastline will take your breath away.

The towering Mount Brown will rise as a spectacular backdrop, adding a magical touch to the landscape as we sail toward Cape Raoul.

With a bit of luck, during the journey, you'll be able to spot the local fauna, such as playful dolphins, majestic whales, or friendly Australian sea lions that rest at the feet of the dolerite columns. Don't forget to look at the sky! Sea eagles, albatrosses, and other birds tend to fly over this coast!

After this 1.5-hour cruise, we'll return to the starting point, concluding this unforgettable maritime experience.
