Grande and Nogoli Rivers Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Potrero de los Funes at the time of your choice, we will hit the road that will take us to the High Sierras in the province of San Luis.

During this journey, we will see the profile of the pampa mountains, on whose slopes we will observe a great botanical diversity. We will continue the route to the small village of Nogolí, where we will stop at the viewpoint of the reservoir of the same name. The colossal dimensions of the dam will leave you speechless!

From the Nogolí reservoir, we will head to the course of the Grande River. There we will see how the landscape changes little by little, from the green spots to much more ochre and stony terrains.

Next to the bed of the river Grande, we will also talk to you about the native fauna that lives in this area of San Luis, home to amazing birds such as mountain parrots and woodpeckers. Small mammals, such as foxes, viscachas, wild cats, and guanacos, also thrive here.

We will conclude the excursion by returning to your hotel in Potrero de los Funes, where we will five hours after the pick-up.
