    Stefano was a great guide. Professional and knowledgeable. He not only gave us a great tour but he was kind enough to let us know that our papal audience needed canceled because the Pope is out of the country., and he gave us the name of the best gelato in Rome. We had some and so far it is clearly the best. Thank you Stefano.

Did you know...

The Piazza Navona dates back to 86 AD when it was commissioned by emperor Domitian. The square has an ovular shape as it was originally used as a stadium for athletics competitions. Later, it was used for gladiatorial battles as well as mock naval battles.

During the Christmas season and also over the summer, the square is host to craft markets and stalls of local artists. You'll often find painters with their works on display!
