Salzburg Guided Tour & Tourist Card

On board the sightseeing bus enjoy a one hour tour past the city's most symbolic monuments including Mirabell Palace, Mozart's residence, Salzburg Cathedral and Leopoldskron Palace, the scene of the Sound of Music.

During the tour, you can admire these and many other outstanding places in Salzburg. You'll also discover its architectural affluence and the imperial legacy that reigns in its streets.

Salzburg Card

The Salzburg Card gives you free access to the city's main museums and monuments, such as the Cathedral, Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mirabell Palace and Mozart's birthplace. In addition, the Salzburg Card gives you discounts for concerts, exhibitions and other activities.

Some of the attractions included in the card are:

• Hellbrunn Palace
• Mozart's Residence House
• Boat trip on the river Salzach
• Salzburg Museum of Modern Art
• Catacombs of Mount Mönchsberg
• Salzburg Zoo

How does it work?

The Salzburg Card is activated the first time it's used and is valid for 24 hours. For example, if you activate the card on Monday at 1:45 pm, it will be valid until the following Tuesday at 1:45 pm. The card allows only one access to each attraction or monument included.

Public transport

With the Salzburg Card, you'll have free access to the city's public transportation for 24 hours. The card also includes the Hohensalzburg Fortress funicular, the Untersberg Mountain cable car and the lift to Mount Mönchsberg.

Meeting point

We'll meet at the chosen time in Mirabell Square. Before we start the scenic tour, we'll give you the Salzburg Card. 

Children under 4 years of age

This activity is free for children up to 4 years old, but during the scenic tour, they must travel on their parents' lap. If you want them to occupy a seat, you must reserve a child seat.
